3/4" vs 5/8" Handle Diameter: The closing distance between the 3/4" handles is approximately 2-3/4", while the closing distance between the 5/8" handles is approximately 3". It takes greater closing force to close a Beef Builder Hand Gripper with a 5/8" diameter handle. This 1/4" difference dramatically increases your gripping strength.

Gap: Beef Builder Hand Grippers come standard with a 1/16" gap (distance between the spring and the handle). 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4" gaps are also available. Increasing the gap facilitates closing.

Spread: Beef Builder Hand Grippers with 3/4" diameter handles have a spread (distance between the handles) of approximately 2-3/4". Decreasing the spread to 2-3/8" facilitates closing.
